In this article, we will explain how you can choose a city or state. At the moment, you can target cities/states in our worldwide network for free.
Lets start.
1). First step is to have a residential proxy subscription active. Our datacenter plans do not include city / state target.
2). Go to the dashboard and click the page for the proxy generator (or click here to be taken directly there) in the navbar on the left side of the screen.
3). Choose your active residential subscription in the generator's first field (see the screenshot below).
4). After that, the generator will display all possible countries, states, and cities based on the plan you're on. If you want to target a city or state in the United States, simply pick "United States" in the country selection area.
After that, the state and city fields will be unlocked. You can now choose a state or city in the United States. Please see the accompanying screenshot.
Note: If you simply want to target a state, leave the city field blank.
