Configure the Android Proxy Settings on a Mobile Network

You are required to follow slightly different steps when configuring Android proxy settings on a mobile network.

Step 1: Go to Settings

The first step is to open the “Settings” category.

Step 2. Go to the Connections

Open the connections option in the “Settings” app.

Step 3: Open Mobile Networks

Now select the “Mobile Networks” category.

Step 4: Go to Access Point Names

Select the “Access Point Names” option under the “Mobile Networks” category.

Step 5: Click on the APN You are Using

The next step is to tap on the APN you are currently using.

Step 6. Enter Proxy Server’s Details

This step involves entering your proxy server’s details including the hostname or IP address of the proxy server, port number, username and password. Once done, tap the “Save” option on the top-right corner of the menu to save your recent proxy settings.

Step 7: Check the Proxy Connection

Finally, go on any reliable IP checker site to verify your proxy connection.
