Rainproxy provides geographic targeting options, but proxy availability can vary depending on the selected location and the available proxy pool.
Selecting a specific location does not always guarantee that an IP from that location will be immediately available.
Why can this happen?
Limited availability
Some cities, states, and other smaller locations may have fewer available residential IPs than larger locations.
Your targeting is too specific
Combining several targeting requirements can reduce the number of eligible IPs.
For example:
Country + State + City
may provide fewer available IPs than selecting the country alone.
Availability changes over time
Residential IP pools are dynamic.
An IP that is available at one moment may become unavailable later, while other IPs can become available over time.
What can I try?
Broaden your targeting
If you don't specifically need city-level targeting, try selecting the country instead.
If state-level targeting isn't required, remove the state restriction.
Try another location
If your use case allows it, try another city or region within the same country.
Try worldwide targeting
If you don't require a specific geographic location, worldwide targeting gives you access to a broader pool of available IPs.
